20-minute tour in English: Main Exhibition On Stage
Join us for a 20-minute tour of the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts’ main exhibition: On Stage. Tuesday to Sunday at 3:15 pm. The tour is included in your admission ticket!
Bread has been baked in the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts’ Kronobageriet building since the seventeenth century. And what was once a bakery for naval personnel is now filled with dance, music, theatre and puppet shows. At the museum, we’ll move from Strindberg’s original script to Bellman’s cittern and Lena Nyman’s Guldbagge Award. During the tour, you will get an introduction to both the location and to the exhibition, On Stage. In 20 minutes, our expert museum guides present our exhibitions and open the door to the world of performing arts. The tour offers context, sparks curiosity and serves as a starting point for continuing to explore the exhibition independently.
The tour is intended for adults and older children, and is the perfect way to begin your visit to the museum.
